Lumec provides project management, facilitation and support services to assist drive the implementation of projects from initial research to establishment. Project facilitation requires a combination of skills and expertise including market research, feasibility studies and business plans, cost-benefit analysis, organisational development and planning, financial analysis, stakeholder engagement and facilitation, and monitoring and evaluation. We have supported SMMEs, potential investors, donor funders and government departments to drive important projects or initiatives through to implementation in a professional, informed and transparent manner.
An example of a project we are facilitating from 2022-2025 is within the Sustainable Recycling Industries (SRI) programme’s South Africa project, where we are fulfilling the role of Local Technical Coordinator for the iLembe E-waste Project. Our core responsibilities include managing delivery of a range of sub-projects, developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential partners, and providing support to the National Coordinator.
